We are Happy to Announce and Share the information for the Final 2017 Pinhead Session
WHAT: Funky Chicken Pincushion Workshop
WHEN: Thursday, November 30, 2017 12:30pm-3:30pm
WHERE: Fiber Arts Room
WHO: Taught by Head Pinhead Karen Bogadi
Attending any of the previous PinHead Sessions is not a requirement to participate in this workshop. Come join the fun and make a gift for a friend or for yourself. Please notice that this little guy is made using a LOG CABIN BLOCK. Your Challenge Project could be completed in a single fun session!!
2 identical or very similar log cabin blocks, I used 4” x 4” (3 1/2” finished) but you can use larger blocks if you wish. If you use larger blocks, you will also need to make your squares for the tail and beak larger.
1 - 2” square light fabric for tail
1 - 3” square dark fabric for tail
1 - 1 1/4” square for beak or you can use felt
Ribbon, yarn, felt, prairie points or whatever you come up with for the topknot (don’t know what it’s called)
2 Beads for eyes (optional)
Machine in good working order Normal sewing supplies
