Beautiful zigzag stitched bags. No shaping required!!
Simply made from a rectangle for the sides and an oval for the Bottom.

The pattern is by Auntie Two Patterns, Camden Bag.  I believe there are members that have already made this Bag and would be willing to share their pattern with you.
(You may purchase the Pattern for $4.50+.29 tax = $4.79 and the roll of DUET FUSE ll by BOSAL for $9.56+.61 tax = $10.17 total of $14.96 for both items through Brewer Company.  Linda Rowe will take your order at the February general meeting on February 10th and you will be required to pay her at that time.  Your order will be here in plenty of time for the class.)

Materials needed for making a small: 12" wide X 7" deep X 9"-10" tall
You will have the ability to make it the size you would like.

1 1/4 yards (if using only one fabric) OR 16 - 17, 2 1/2" X 42/44" Strips.  You can also use a jelly roll and save time cutting.

Binding, Bottom and Handles:
1 yard of fabric, keep in mind these areas will get the most soiled, so use a medium to dark fabric for binding and bottom.

1 1/8 yard or 1 roll of DUET FUSE II by BOSAL available in pre-cut rolls (2 1/4" X 20 yards), or 1 yard packaged or on the   bolt.

Bottom Interfacing:
1 yard of double-sided fusible stiff interfacing like CRAF-TEX PLUS by Bosal
or Peltex 72F by Pellon and 1/2 yard of fusible Vinyl for keeping the bottom clean.

Matching Thread for sewing the bottom and Handles:
Heavy for hand sewing the bottom and leather handles, I used upholstery thread from Jo Ann’s to match your fabrics.

Handles: (in addition to the fabric listed for the above)
I used Leather Handles that I purchased last year at the Phoenix Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival or if you are going to make your  own you will need 5 feet of Plastic Tubing (.170 1/4" Polyethylene)
   Non-Fusible Stiff Interfacing (Craf-tex, Peltex)

4 Thick buttons or feet for the bottom. Buttons for the front or I have the template to make a flower. Heavy Duty Magnet, Frog or whatever you would like for a closure if any.

Other Tools: Sewing Machine with a zigzag stitch, Microtex 90/14 for straight stitching and Jean's or Denim 110/18 for zigzag stitching, wonder clips, seam ripper and Milner's needles size 7 for hand sewing.

Note: there is a considerable amount of hand sewing.
