Jean Fry called the meeting to order at 6:58 p.m. 

The January 2019 General meeting minutes stand approved as posted.

Plans for future meetings are as follows:
March:  Creative Arts Room
November:  Tuscany Ballroom
April and December Holiday Luncheons:  Chianti Room at Tuscany Falls 

The 2019 Budget has been approved by the board.

The Pickle Ball Tournament this week will impact the parking on the east side of the building.  No parking from 12 noon on – Wed/Thurs. 

On February 22/23 is Meet the Artist.  Room is not available on those days.

The happy Trails Quilt show is this weekend.  Food is available.

Rosemary and Cynthia Schwartz will head up the veterans quilt group this year.  Thank you to them for volunteering. 

Linda Labenz is the ambassador to our quilt guild.  She has given tours of room and will help newcomers feel comfortable.  Eleven people have enjoyed and learned from these tours.

New Members:  Discount coupons available to Bob’s discount and Mulqueen’s.

Our current balance is $14,883.75.  This includes $7004.77 in the long arm account.  For any receipts needed reimbursement, please use the forms found in Cabinet 22 or on the website.  Checks will be in cabinet 22, if not returned to person at the meeting.

March 19th, Cathy Howell, Sew Together tote.  Class is full with a wait list. 

Community Service: Judy Frank

74 blankets, 24 bibs, 5 bears, 6 burp cloths and 10 dog beds were completed and donated in January.
Feb. 16th, Youth quilts will be the theme for the work day.

March 16th – Joni will teach an easy block for hospice of AZ. 
Adopt a quilt kits are available.

Opportunity Quilt:
Chris Booth has volunteered to head up sales for the quilt.
Quilting is getting finished up on the quilt. 

Feb. 8th:   If you have a quilt and want it documented, let Donna Wisnowski know and she will get it scheduled.  

Challenge quilt:
We have the big window for March and April. 
Hexie quilts due March 1st.  Can be place mats, runners, etc. 

The Sewing room is closed March 22nd and 23rd – Art Walk for Fine Arts
