BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chris Booth, Helen Phillips, JoEllen Cruze, Karen Bogadi, Judy Frank, Linda Shaver, Pam Murphy, Joanne Krantz, Mary Sheldon.
Also present: Webmaster Ronda Jones
Chris Booth called the meeting to order at 6:50 p.m. The June 12, 2017 general meeting minutes stand approved as posted.

President: Chris Booth welcomed guest Tina Stepzinski. Helen Phillips will have the President’s keys to the Diamondback Room this weekend. Linda Shaver will leave her keys with her husband should anyone need them.

Vice President: No report.
Secretary: No report.

Treasurer: JoEllen Cruze stated the Treasurer’s report is available on the website. The current balance is $13,275. There will be a budget review later in July.

Programs/Education: Linda Shaver thanked the teachers who participated in the Christmas in June workshop held on June 20. She also thanked Mary Sheldon who kept everyone fed and entertained.
On July 25, Karen Bogadi will be teaching traditional needle turn appliqué.
Members are asked to contact Linda Shaver if they have anything they would like to teach.

Community Service: Judy Frank stated there will be a dog bed workshop on August 8 from 1 to 4 pm.
On August 15, from 10 am to 4 pm, there will be a red, white, and blue veterans’ quilt workshop. Ronda Jones shared a quilt to be donated.
Judy Frank reminded the members that our cabinets are overflowing with donated fabrics and encouraged members to use those fabrics for community service projects.

Long Arm: Joanne Krantz reported the long arm is running perfectly.

During the month of June, there were 19 charity quilts and 18 personal quilts done on the long arm. Ronda has a new list of those certified and those who have used the long arm in the last couple of years listed on the website.

Publicity: No report.
Sales: No report.

Social: Mary Sheldon stated a “beach bag” social is planned for August 7 and August 22. Socials are also being planned for September 11 and October 30.

Librarian: No report.
Historian: No report.
Webmaster: No report.

Display Window: Chris Booth reported Karen Bogadi’s quilt “New York Beauty” is on display in the window.

Challenge Quilt: Kathleen O’Connell asked members to check the website regarding the log cabin challenge quilt.

Documentation: No report.

NEW BUSINESS:The next general meeting is scheduled for August 14, and the members will be advised if that meeting is cancelled.
Karen Bogadi moved the meeting be adjourned, and Lynn Hupp seconded. Members approved.
