CALL TO ORDER: Jean Fry called the meeting to order at 9:05 am.
October Minutes approved as submitted.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS AND STANDING COMMITTEES:
President: Jean Fry
November’s meeting is in the ballroom.
Jan-Mar, Oct.- Nov., we have asked for the ballroom or Chianti room.
Ronda will send out another message reminding members to renew and sign up for the luncheon.
If membership cards are not used, do we need to use them?
Teri motioned the discontinuance of these cards as a physical necessity, Linda seconded. All voted in favor.
Secretary: No report:
Checking account: $7,844.23
Long arm savings: $7,906.61
Petty cash: $50
Programs and Education:
Diane Johnson – class is full for tomorrow.
T-shirt class is Nov. 23rd.
Quilting 101 class: 12 signed up, 9 mentors so far.
Community Service: Patsy
145 quilts have been donated to date. 122 items to date.
7 quilts to Hospice of the Valley. 9 for Ryan House, 12 dog beds.
Scissors and blades were purchased for the cupboard.
Linda Labenz is doing Tumbler block, and both classes are filled.
“Opportunity” is the word to get a chance to win a quilt.
We are looking for someone to quilt the 2020 Opportunity Quilt.
Marka and Carol are considering organizing to spearhead the 2021 Opportunity quilt design and construction of the quilt top. We would still need to draft a quilter and committee when time.

Long arm seems to be working fine.

Sales: No report.
Social: Linda Rowe
Welcome back was a good event.
The Marshall Dry Goods e-mail was sent out. We are going to order one bundle to see the quality.
Will get back to the group for decorations for the luncheon.
Librarian: No report.
Web Master: No report.
Anything you have, send in to Ronda. Any kind of event, please remember to take pictures so that we have record and send them to Ronda.
Brag window is up in the window.
Window display committee will need a new chairman.
Veteran’s Appreciation Quilts: Cynthia Schwartz
Luncheon and program is November 10th.
Luncheon will start at 11:30 promptly.
Veterans’ quilts will have parameters as guidelines for next year.
Tickets are still available for purchase.
Documentation: No report
Challenge quilt: No report.
New Hope for New Life. Roxanne Dullas is going to be the lead. It is put on hold until Jan.
Can we do a quilters’ studio tour in our neighborhood.
Next board meeting will be Dec. 2 from 9-11.
General Meeting is Dec.9, the Holiday Luncheon.
Holiday Fest: Donna Aybar is the chairman for the fiber arts room. Dec. 6 is set up. Building will be closed from Friday through Sun. 6-8 building is closed.
We will be selling the opportunity tickets during this time. We will also be selling for the GED.
The preview sale for GED donations, is Friday, Nov. 15, from 10-12.
