Join me for a few tips and tricks for curvy piecing, as well as a variety of free motion and walking foot quilting techniques. We will be creating a table runner of whatever size you like, and choosing some quilting motifs to finish it beautifully.
You will need:
4-6 1/4 yard X WOF cuts of coordinating fabrics for the top
1 yard fabric for back
Contrasting fabric for sashing between curvy blocks and binding
Piecing and quilting thread (matching or contrasting colors)
Basic sewing supplies
Class 1- November 29th
We will curvy cut our fabrics for the table runner blocks, and piece them.
In addition, we’ll discuss both free motion and walking foot quilting, so you can have ideas in mind for the next class.
Class 2 – December 6th
We will discuss machine set up for both free motion and walking foot quilting. Once you have chosen your motifs, you can begin quilting your table runner. If you’re fast, you may finish in class!
